ADVOCATE FOR EXPRESSION
Kristin Bjorge is an image and creative consultant — at the core, an interdisciplinary artist who crafts lasting impressions through visual storytelling. Over two decades in entertainment and media, she has shaped presence for countless public-facing professionals and more than 70 leading brands.
She built her reputation in Hollywood as a trusted stylist and costume designer in commercial advertising, television, and streaming. Her versatility and sense of humor have made her an endeared collaborator across industries.
Holding a B.A. in Photography and Graphic Design with emphasis in Marketing from Arizona State University, Kristin's early career began assisting commercial photographers, then moved into art direction at R&R Partners and traffic management at 944 Magazine before fully stepping into styling.
Her recent work has expanded into teaching as adjunct faculty at ASU's FIDM program and producing ecommerce content for Nordstrom, bringing both academic depth and professional precision to everything she builds. Kristin founded The Self Styled in 2023, a creative consulting studio focused on identity and style. Her approach integrates fundamentals of design, psychology, and energetics — because iconic identity is multifaceted.
“It’s no surprise I built a career playing dress-up with people — it’s what I’ve always loved. Growing up, the mall was my playground; no single store rack was left unexplored before calling it a day. Theater let me step into costume and play the fool, like Peter Pan — when I wasn’t geared up for a pep rally as Marty Mustang, our middle school mascot. My mother’s closet was pure magic, where retired garments and deadstock fabrics transformed into couture on her trusty 1960s Singer, later appearing on the living room catwalk. And high school? It was all funky Polaroid photo shoots and bedroom walls plastered with ads we tore from Vogue and Elle.”
